This site is dedicated in the memory of Corinne; also known as
RINN [FeFa]
March 18, 1961-July 4, 2000

This particular page was the opening of The Femme Fatales' site. The site is still dedicated to Rinn, and it will always be. I just felt I needed to retire this part to the archives, well, a special page for her, actually; so people can come and go if they wish, and read up on the recently said things towards Rinn.
Since I've been gone so long, I've decided to make a 'comeback' of sorts, and try to get back into Quake 2, and join Lily, and hopefully Mrs. D in the game. But most of all to update the page, make some good changes to it, and I'm open to suggestions on the page.
Please, enjoy this site, remember the good things about Rinn, and enjoy the other pages as well.
Thank you all, and it's good to be back.

Take care;

~Fate [FeFa]

Back to Our World

Today, I lost my best friend.

Early morning on July 4, 2000; Corinne passed away in her sleep.
She was a phenomenal woman, who is greatly missed.
She was my best friend, she was my sister, I could tell her anything.
She was loved by many, whether over the internet, or in person, she charmed anyone she met, and became good friends with them in no time.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend.
I'm sure she would love everyone to remember her happy go lucky personality, and her great sense of humor.

If you would like to add something to this site about her, contact me at fate_clotho@hotmail.com and feel free to leave a message in the guest book.
I will post the e-mail messages as soon as I can.
We will miss her always
Good bye dear friend.
Love forever,
Fate
(Ariane)

I have just received a copy of the obituary; It is beautiful.

Julie Corinne "Rinn" Carter G******, 39, my loving and caring wife of near twenty years, was taken from those she loved and those who loved her, during her sleep on July 4th, 2000.

Corinne is the devoted and adored mother of Jessica Corinne G******, Mitchell G****** (deceased), and Katelyn Chelsey G******; the loving and giving daughter to Richard and Julie Hoelle, the beloved sister to Kimball Conrad (KC) Carter and Sarah Anne Everill. The love, joy, sharing, partnership, and friendship that she brought to everyone that met her is beyond measurement.

Corinne was born on March 18th, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born to loving parents, Conrad Carter and Julie Anne Fornelius Carter. Corinne's father, Conrad, passed at the young age of 36, when Corinne was 13 years old.
Corinne attended and graduated from Granger High School in 1979 and attended Salt Lake Community College. She granted me, Bryant G******, the highest possible honor on March 16th, 1984, when she married me.

Corinne's skills, generosity, and patience were unending. A talented artist, craftsperson, interior decorator; Rinn made a "home" of every place she lived and visited. The homes of her friends and family all have a touch of Rinn's peronality. In the past two years she has become a computer and internet expert, and her wonderful personality has spread across the nation. She has found a world of caring people through her online presence and has forged new and lasting friendships.

Corinne's work career and life was intertwined with the airline industry. She proudly worked ten years for Eastern Airlines, then for Continental and Southwest Airlines. She showed pride in everything she did and was unmatched in her "people" skills. Rinn loved cats with a passion; camping, boating, and fishing. She had a magical effect on children, they simply adored her.

In addition to her immediate family, Rinn leaves behind a very special couple, my brother, Matthew G****** and his loving wife, Ariane G******. They filled the role of best friends and they may never fully know the joy they brought to Corinne. Corinne, we will never forget you and will all miss you terribly.

I will place messages below her picture as I receive them. Please, read on.

To everyone out there who knew Rinn, you couldn't find a better person than Rinn to become friends with. She helped me so much with my server and in my personal life, I just can't explain what this loss means to me. I have lost my best friend, somone I talked to every night in friendship. Those of you who know my server as BIOMEDMAN'S FRAG ALOT will be changed in memory of Rinn to "RINN'S QUAKE2 BASH". So everyone who plays there will know her name. We love you, Rinn, and we will miss you. MMMMMMMMWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAA!!!
Forever;
biomedman

I have just learned that several people who knew and cared for Rinn, are going to play under her name, to make her what she is. #1

RINN [FeFa]

I know that she would have loved this, so Lily, Mrs. D and I wish to say thank you.

Rinn; I just wanted to say a few things about you that anyone who ever met you would know to be true. You were one of the most kind and easy to talk to people I have ever met. I will always remember how eager you were to help with anything no matter how big or small. But most of all I will just miss talking to you - You were almost always available to talk to and that will be sorely missed by myself and countless others, I'm sure. I now regret not keeping in touch as much after you moved, and I wish I could apologize to you for that. I feel fortunate to have actually met you in person and I just wanted to let you know that you will be missed.

Always Your Friend;

Todd Gee AKA Flesh

The loss of our friend Rinn, was a very sad loss for her family and all of her friends, of which she had many. Rinn was always there for me when I needed her and was a glowing heart that brightened my day each and every time I tought of her. It didn't take knowing Rinn personally to know the kind of warm, gentle, loving soul she possessed. She was, and still is, a heartwarming Angel that will always live inside the hearts and souls of many.... I will miss you greatly, Rinn...I am keeping you on my contact list and will send you notes to let you know how I'm doing.....

@}>----,----'---- PS Thank you for showing me how to make a rose....Now I can give one to you :)

An update to playing under RINN [FeFa]
Rinn loved Quake 2 and Lithium especially. One of her favorite servers was Biomedman's. It's a very fast server with fast hook and short, 10 minute, maps. This server has been renamed in Rinn's memory to:
RINN'S QUAKE2 BASH at 164.58.163.44:27910
Please join us at Rinn's server to help place her in the #1 position.
The name to use is;

RINN [FeFa]

Rememberances welcome!! Lily~

I want to say that Rinn was one of the most loved people. There were not many as kind and true as she was. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rinn, I hope you can see how much everyone loves you. We are all praying that you are in a better place. I'm also sorry in the end that I was not there as much. I regret that more than anything. I will truely miss you and you will always be in my heart.

I love you,

MRS. D [FeFa]

P.S. Thank you for inviting me in this clan. It was an honor to play with someone as great as you.

Rinn was a very special person. It's hard to find the kind of friendlyness that Rinn shows people, especially those she has just met or those in need of help. I will miss her greatly as she has shown me that there are people on the internet who just want to be friends and talk and do not expect anything in return, but a friendly conversation.

God bless you, Rinn.

CGS

I represent Clan [*SCH*] as the VP and would love to help RInn get to the top by wearing her name as well as my clan mates.

I would love to see Rinn's name rise to the top in her memory.

Trinity [*SCH*]

Rinn; You were indeed special...Which anybody who has met you would agree. You knew how to bring out the best in people and most important, you knew how to bring people together..Even if only on the net. I only knew you for a short time, but am the better for it. We will all miss you.

Rod aka Mad_Clocker

To Rinn;

There are some people that you may know all your life and never really know who or what they are. I only knew Rinn for a short time, but she was the kind of person that in 5 minutes you feel like you have known her forever. I will truly miss her and though I'm sure she is in a better place. I know we are not to question God, but sometimes it just gets too hard to understand the meaning of it all. You were ag ood friend and always ready to chat with me and I feel honored to have known you. I hope to see her again someday, as we all will.

Occams_RaZoR/AKA Crazy_Cavy/Bob Fisher

My name is BigJohnson=GoM= I am a member of Gods of Mortality. I would like to say I had the honor of playing with RINN on numerous occasions. Not only was she a good player, she was a very nice person to talk to. Me and my fellow clanmates, along with {HTO} clan will make sure RINN is number 1.
We do this in the loving memory of her.

Miss ya sweetheart, and will always miss you. You're way special indeed.

She helped in so many different ways, I can't say enough....

8) Darkness (E)

Last year I ran several Q2 WoD servers. Whenever Rinn would step into my server, the place would just light up! She brought happiness and joy to me everytime she would grace my server. In a short time, that developed into a friendship that included many wonderful conversations over ICQ.

There are many people I love in the Q2 WoD community, but Rinn was one of the most special. She had a never ending appetite for learning everything I could teach her about computers and servers. We had great fun learning from each other. I only wish I had learned about her departure sooner.

I don't believe in death. In my heart, I know she is happily watching this whole thing and thinking we are all a bunch of ninnies for making such a fuss, but I think she can also see what a huge impact her life had, both on her family and on her Internet friends. One life can make such a huge difference.

Enjoy the rest, Rinn. I look forward to seeing you again. We'll chat again!!

Back to Our World

This site is about our all female Quake II Clan;

We currently have four members, whom you can learn about in each of their bio's.

We have the Co-Clan Mistresses:

Rinn & Fate

Then came:

Lily

&

FallenAngel (Mrs. D)

One big fraggin' family!

Rinn and I Came up with the idea of an all female clan, spring of 1999. Trying to come up with names, and finally deciding on the Femme Fatales, with [FeFa] as our logo.

It was just Rinn and Fate in the beginning, but we added a few members shortly.

Soon we lost our other three members, and it was back to just Rinn and I.

Almost a year later, Lily joined our happy group, and then most recently, Mrs. D joined us, and we were more than happy to have her as part of our family.
